FAQ

Answers to Your Most Common Questions

What is supported accommodation?

Supported accommodation provides young people with a safe place to live while receiving tailored support to help them move towards independence. This includes help with life skills such as budgeting, cooking, education, and employment readiness. It bridges the gap between full-time care and living independently.

Who is eligible for your service?

Our supported accommodation is designed for young people aged 16 and over, including looked-after children, care leavers, and those who need semi-independent living arrangements. We work in partnership with local authorities to ensure every placement meets the young person’s individual needs.

How do you ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people in your accommodation?

Our homes are equipped with appropriate CCTV coverage, fire safety systems, and regular maintenance checks. Staff conduct regular welfare visits and risk assessments to ensure each young person’s needs are met in a safe, stable, and supportive environment. We also promote a culture of respect and inclusion across all our services.

Are your placements staffed 24/7?

We offer both staffed and non-staffed (floating support) accommodation options depending on the young person’s assessed level of need. All our placements are subject to risk assessment, and staff are available to provide assistance or intervention whenever necessary to ensure safety and stability.

What type of support do you provide?

Each young person is assigned a dedicated key worker who offers guidance, emotional support, and practical life skills training. Support may include help with managing finances, accessing education or employment, maintaining health and wellbeing, and preparing for fully independent living.

How can I make a referral or enquire about placements?

Referrals can be made directly by local authorities, social workers, or commissioning teams. If you’d like to discuss a placement, please contact us through our website or by email. Our team will respond promptly to discuss availability, suitability, and next steps.
